TOILETRIES:
_____ Antiseptic Mouthwash (also good for rinsing toothbrush)
_____ Cologne/Perfume/Deodorant (seal in zip lock bag)
_____ Clothes line, clothes pins, Detergent
_____ Electric Razor (battery), Shaving gear
_____ Hair Brush and Comb
_____ Shampoo (seal in zip lock bag)
_____ Soap (in plastic soap container)
_____ Thongs to protect feet in shower
_____ Toothbrush w/ case, Toothpaste

GENERAL ITEMS:
_____ Aspirin/Tylenol
_____ Breath mints/Chewing gum
_____ Camera (extra batteries), Film (lots of it)
_____ Electrical converter
_____ First Aid Kit including band-aids & personal medicines (travel size)
_____ Some silverware & hand wipes or anti-bacterial lotion
_____ Granola bars/other healthy snacks/Cheese whiz
_____ Immodium AD and Pepto Bismol tablets (a necessity)
_____ Kleenex (travel size), Zip Lock Bags (to store items that may leak)
_____ Luggage locks (combination is best), Luggage Straps (optional)
_____ Money belt or other travel case for money, passport, etc....
_____ Clothes (modest, appropriate for culture)
_____ A few rolls of toilet paper (a necessity)
_____ Bug repellant, Sunscreen, Cap or Hat
_____ Inflatable air matress & Pillow, Sheets
_____ Sweater, jacket (may get cold at night)
_____ Comfortable hiking boots or cushioned tennis shoes for lots of walking!

SPECIAL ITEMS:
_____ Umbrella (smallest size possible)
_____ Swimsuit, Towel
_____ Small Backpack (this is essential for carrying tracts, Bibles, water, etc.)
_____ Flashlight
_____ Pocket-size notebooks & Pens (for names, addresses, daily impressions, etc.)
_____ Duct Tape
_____ Gifts for interpreters, pastors, friends, etc.... (some suggestions: T-shirts, devotional guides, Bible high - lighters, family pictures, etc.....)

Be sure to pack a changes of clothes, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. in your carry-on bag. Also, extra clothes....some luggage has been known to arrive late!
